‘How do you go from a medical aid to a powerful fashion-statement?
HUMN.AID is a collection of harnasses and accessoires, made for people with an insulinepump, catheder etc. It proves that disability, design and fashion are compatible.
This projects breaks through the ‘norm’ and puts a lens on people with disabilities through pride and power. HUMN.AID announces a revolution in design- and fashion, and places disability as a central theme on the agenda. Be proud and extravagant!
HUMN.AID is a collaboration with Josefien Cornette, Nina Van Herck , NoBabes Agency and MycaNova. The collection was build together with three other artists: Hey Jude, Viva Sage and Turncoat Studios. Styling was done by Finne Smets with pieces by Nanook Cools and Essentiel Antwerp. Lieven Storme was our make-up artist. Our models and our experts by experience are Meike de Roest, Simon Ruts and Morgane Hutse.
